This means that not only is this composite fire door tested but also externally audited to inspect that it is consistently manufactured correctly (by regularly taking doors from production and testing to ensure they still meet the standards required).

Test
Evidence

Our composite FD30 fire doors are tested up to 885 degrees Celcius, withstanding fire exposure to both sides to achieve a ‘pass’ result. All composite fire doors have passed with a minimum performance of 39 minutes.

Mandatory Identification Label/Plugs

Q Mark accredited for both fire and security performance and are marked to identify the door set performance.

Our doors are marked with an identification plug in the side of the door leaf near the top hinge with a code that identifies the performance for the door.

The door supplied is Q Mark certified for SECURITY resistance, there is an identification label on the hinge or upper edge of the door leaf that identifies the performance for the door.

This helps identify every doors performance on site vs a paper certificate that can be lost or damaged.
